If this is your first time using The Mental Edge, we recommend you test drive the reviews before you subscribe so you can be sure they will meet your needs and that your browser is configured to work properly with The Mental Edge.

School Subscriptions

School subscriptions can be purchased for the school or school district according to the chart below. Combination schools subscribe at the rate of the highest type, i.e. K-8 would subscribe at the middle school rate, Jr/Sr high school combinations would subscribe at the high school rate.

School License - A single user name and password are issued for use by the school's entire student body. They may be used in school or at home.

District License - A single user name and password are issued for each school. They may be used in school or at home.

District License Pricing - District pricing may be calculated by taking the school rate less $100.00 for each school in the district. Primary schools serving only through grade 2 need not be counted.

School Orders

School and District orders are accepted by purchase order. Purchase orders are accepted via phone, e-mail or at the post office address below. Please provide the following information when ordering. E-mail delivery of your purchase order will allow us to set up your account in the most time efficient manner.

Special Consideration for Schools

We can provide passwords before a purchase order if we receive an email indicating an intent to purchase from the district office.

Home Subscriptions

A home subscription to The Mental Edge is $49.95. Your subscription gives you full access to all the reviews, for all the grades, for a one year period beginning at the time of subscription.

PayPal Subscriptions

PayPal can be used for home subscriptions. When you use PayPal a Username and Password will be issued immediately and you can begin using The Mental Edge at once. Just click on the PayPal link below and they will walk you through the process. If you are not currently a PayPal member it is a two part process

First you join PayPal and set up an account with them. They will ask you to choose a Password for your PayPal account. That Password, in combination with your e-mail address, will be used to access your PayPal account in the future.

After setting up your PayPal account you enroll in The Mental Edge by clicking the button below. PayPal will provide you with a Username and Password to use on our site. You will be able to use our reviews as soon as you return to our site.

The Mental Edge passwords can be shared, but under normal conditions they can only be used by one person at a time. Please note that if you let someone use your Username and Password and they fail to close their browser when they are finished you may not be able to sign in until they do.

If you experience a problem subscribing, PayPal's telephone number is 888.221.1161. If they don't give you the help you need contact us via e-mail sales@learningshortcuts.com and we will make other arrangements with you.

Credit Card Orders

If you choose not to use PayPal you may purchase a subscription to The Mental Edge by using your credit card. It is a two part process.

First you send an email to the following address telling us the Username and Password you would prefer to use: subscribe@learningshortcuts.com

After you send the email you click the button below and make your payment. A Username and Password will be sent to you within 24 hours of receipt of your payment.

Canceling Your Subscription

If you wish to cancel a subscription you made through PayPal you can do so at PayPal's site or you may use the button below.

Money Orders and Checks

We accept money orders and checks for home purchases made out to Learning ShortCuts, Inc. They can be sent to Learning ShortCuts, Inc. - PO Box 382367 - Germantown, TN 38183-2367. (Tennessee residents please add $4.62 for sales tax)

Please include a note indicating your email address and your preference for user name and password. When your check or money order has been received your user name and password will be sent to you via email.
